To produce a group of young researchers capable of conducting high quality research, who are also able to address industrial and societal needs and implement wastewater-related directives in practice.

National/Local decision and policy makers, Scientists, Staff of wastewater treatment plants, Waste/water treatment providers, and Water/waste service providers

Area of interest:
Occurrence of pharmaceuticals in the environment, Wastewater, and Water treatment technologies

Activities:

Training programme:
1) State-of-the-art technologies and tools for wastewater treatment and resource recovery from wastewater
2) Socio-economic issues, policy drivers and regulations related with the management of urban wastewaters
3) Inter-sectoral issues (industry engagement, networking and client development)
4) Complementary skills (project management, communication in science, communication to the stakeholders, etc)
